Every youth day I think about the happenings of June 16, 1976, and wonder if the youth of that day would be happy with what is happening today. Unfortunately, the heady, passionate youth of 1976 are elderly now, and one has to wonder if they are happy with the way things have gone.
I got to thinking how important the youth are TODAY, though. And how it’s up to us to encourage them and draw them into the working world (at 46, I’ve been in the working world for 25 years!) As small business owners we can create opportunities for the youth in our businesses, and we can learn from them too. I hope the youth of today will think about the sacrifices the youth of 1976 made and commit to building a better country together with us. And the virtual world is a perfect way to do this!
